Description

Marioposa is fully equipped for 8 people (not all villas are) with internal and external dining and comfortable seating. It has 4 bedrooms, double en suite and three twin rooms. There is a large decked area to the side with a traditional bbq and large round dining table with parasol. The patio area to the rear has a small breakfast table and chairs and a set of comfortable Rattan coffee table, sofa and chairs. It has 4 sets of two sun loungers, with cushions. Each pair having a large parasol and table around the large private pool with another 4 loungers & cushions on the large roof terrace which has sea views.

Bedrooms:
Large double bedded room with en-suite bath/shower & safe, hairdryer.
Three twin bedded rooms.
All rooms have fitted wardrobes with coathangers.

Bathrooms:
En-suite bathroom has wash basin, bidet, WC, bath with shower.
Large family bathroom has wash basin, WC, bath and seperate shower cubicle.

Kitchen:
Large range style gas hob with electric oven. 2 x Fridges, Freezer. Microwave/grill oven. Washer, dishwasher. Panini toastie machine, kettle & toaster. Iron & ironing board.

Living Rooms:
The large lounge/diner has comfortable seating as well as a dining table and chairs for 8 people. It has a new large screen internet TV with Satellite channels. A tower fan is also in the lounge.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
Each guest has two towels for use on the sun loungers, a hand towel and a bath towel. The towels and sheets are changed every 7 days.

The swimming pool is cleaned prior to your arrival and once during each weeks stay.

Outside

The "piece de resistance" of Villa Blanco is the private pool and patio area.
Only constructed in 2010 the stunning 10 X 5 m pool, with Roman steps, can be heated if required.
The privacy is provided with a fence to the rear and hedges on both sides.
The surrounding Patio area has 8 sunbeds with cushions and parasols for those who want a bit of shade.
The decking area to the side of the Villa has a traditional Canarian BBQ as well as a large dining table covered by a cantilever parasol.
The Patio area directly outside the Villa has a two sets of table and chairs on which to enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea.
There is a drive to park a car but the on street parking is used by most guests.

About the area

Coast/Beach
The downhill walk to the beautiful beaches takes only 15 minutes. The beaches are man made and have specially constructed coves which make for very safe swimming. There are a couple of Beach cafes to enjoy coffee and cake (or a beer).
There is a courtesy bus from the Elba Palace Hotel to the beacha area and into town.

Golf
The Villa stands about 50m from the first tee of the "Old" Golf course which staged the 2004 Spanish Open. The Clubhouse is in the 5* Elba Palce Hotel which has an excellent restaurant. preferential green fees are available for guests.

Distances
The Airport is only 15 minutes away and costs approx 15 Euros in a Taxi (1.10 Euro on the bus!) The main town of Caleta de Fuste (formerly known as as Costa Caleta) is 35 minute walk but less than 4 euros by taxi. (Courtesy bus from the hotel is free).
The main shopping centre is a 15 minute, downhill walk, with a good selection of shops, restaurants, bank, cinema and bowling alley.
McDonalds and Burger King also.

House swap
We, as a family, are very keen skiers and would be interested in a swap for a ski chale/apartment, preferably in French Alps but ither areas considered.

Less commercial resort preferred.

Rental rates

Booking Notes:
Confirmation of booking requires £200 deposit with the balance paid 10 weeks before departure. A returnable "breakage deposit" of £150 is to be paid with final balance. We have never yet had to retain any.
A full set of terms and conditions is sent at time of booking.
Final arrangements for keys etc are sent 2 weeks prior to departure.

Changeover Day:
The range of carriers flying into Fuerteventura is increasing all the time so change over days are flexible, depending on prior bookings. Please speak to me, Martin, to discuss.

Notes on prices:
With several budget airlines flying out to Fuerteventura it is possible to have a long weekend (Ryanair Thursday to Sunday from East Midlands airport)
